Abstract: For reliable, failsafe monitoring of the locking of a closure device of a vehicle of a cableway is disclosed in which provision is made for an electrical connection to be established between a vehicle powerline modem on the vehicle and a station powerline modem, which is connected to the cableway controller, via a busbar in the station, with which contact is made by a current collector of the vehicle, and for the locking status of a locking unit to be transmitted from the vehicle to the cableway controller via this connection by means of powerline communication, wherein, in the event of defective locking, the vehicle is stopped in the region of a busbar in the station and the locking status is transmitted to the cableway controller again when the vehicle is at a standstill.

Abstract: A cable car and a cable car network with cable car stations and cable car vehicles movable with a haulage rope between the cable car stations includes a cable car control unit for controlling the cable car, wherein a maximum electrical energy consumption of the cable car is predetermined; an energy detection unit configured for determining an electrical energy consumption of the cable car; and wherein the cable car control unit is configured to control or regulate an electrical energy consumption of at least one electrical consumer of the cable car based at least in part on the determined electrical energy consumption of the cable car such that the maximum electrical energy consumption predetermined for the cable car is not exceeded. Associated methods of operating a cable car or cable car network are also disclosed.

Abstract: In order to be able to reliably prevent the departure of a vehicle without a locking of the closure device in a cableway with a locking monitor, a second receiving device is provided in the movement direction of the vehicle after the first receiving device. After the start of the vehicle in the first station, the transponder of the vehicle enters the effective range of the second receiving device, and the transponder transmits a signal with the locking state to the second receiving device. The cableway is stopped before the vehicle leaves the first station when the signal to the second receiving device indicates a faulty lock mechanism.
