Abstract: The whole of the technical and commercial data relative to each film is picked up by means of an electronic processing unit and these data are memorized on a data base. The rolls of film are stored in a structured storage member with the position of each roll being identified and memorized on the data base, the said storage member serving as intermediary between the pick-up unit and the splicer, so as to dissociate the pick-up and the splicing and render these two operations not immediately interdependent in time. The magazine comprises one compartmented container of circular shape, each compartment being arranged to receive one roll. The compartments for receiving the rolls are arranged in a spiral along one face of a disc.

Abstract: A parking prevention means comprises a housing (1) containing a power supply, a controller signal receiver unit, said signals controlling a motor coupled to a shaft (8) bearing a movable part (2) which the motor moves from a substantially horizontal position to a substantially vertical position and vice-versa. The movable part comprises one or more legs (3) which are substantially nondeformable and also includes means enabling the shaft to impart its rotational movement to the movable part, whereas rotation of the movable part caused by an external force does not result in associated rotation of the shaft.

Abstract: A new separating method and a corresponding apparatus and the use of the apparatus for the environmentally sound separation of different material mixtures, are disclosed wherein, in addition to dynamic forces, the area pressure between the bodies to be sorted and an inwardly elastic sorting drum are made of use. Bodies which are heavy with respect to specific area pressure sink into the interior of the drum and are thrown out at a lower location. Parts which are light with respect to specific area pressure, on the other hand, are rejected from the surface of the drum and guided away separately. In so doing, the device achieves very efficient separation. The invention is particularly effective for the separation of reclaimable material mixtures, so-called "recyclables", particularly with respect to fractions such as liftings which are otherwise difficult to separate.

Abstract: In a system for conveying objects bearing indicia of destination addresses to associated receptacles, the indicium on each object is converted to an address code identifying a particular receptacle, and the code is fed to a control device for storage. The objects are then moved sequentially past a meter which reads and feeds their indicia to the control device and counts the objects as they pass on to a succession of uniformly spaced containers traveling in a continuous, closed path near the receptacles. All objects passing the meter thus become associated with respective containers, and their number equals the number of containers sequentially passing an arbitrary metering point along the closed path. Any container carrying an object reaches a point over its target receptacle when the meter count for that object corresponds to the indicium/address code which associates that object with that receptacle.
