  • Publication number: 20170192628
Abstract: This disclosure provides for a system and method for managing network-connected industrial assets. A user may request monitored data for one or more of the network-connected industrial assets using a client device that is communicatively coupled to an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) machine. The IIoT machine monitors and records data for various metrics for one or more industrial assets communicatively coupled to the IIoT machine. Using the client device, the user can request the display of various views of the one or more industrial assets including a hierarchical tree structure and a topology view. Furthermore, the hierarchical tree structure and topology view are designed to be simultaneously displayed by the client device so that the user can view information about a selected industrial asset from either the hierarchical tree structure, the topology view, or both.
