  • Patent number: 12612187
Abstract: A method for repairing a zone of a metal structural aircraft part having a protection defect in the vicinity of an orifice for receiving a fastener. There is a step of positioning an isolation element on the zone around the orifice, a step of applying a coat of paint to the zone, covering the isolation element, and a step of inserting a metal fastener into an orifice of the isolation element, prior to or following the step of applying the coat of paint. The metal of the fastener is in contact with the isolation element, itself in contact with the metal forming the aircraft structure.

The isolation element makes it possible to avoid direct contact between the metal of the fastener and the metal forming the aircraft structure, and therefore to avoid any risk of galvanic coupling between the damaged zone and the fastening.

  • Patent number: 10160179
Abstract: A method of reinforcing a composite material part comprising a stack of fiber layers and at least one hole with an axis. The hole crosses the layers and opens out at the level of a first face and a second face of the part. The method comprises at least one stage in the making of at least one notch in at least one layer of the part proximate to the hole or which opens out in the hole.

  • Patent number: 9163652
Abstract: A blind attachment that includes a body (36) with—at a first end—a visible surface (38), through which a bore (40) passes that accommodates a rod (42) of which a first end (44) projects relative to the visible surface (38) and of which the other end includes a head (46) that can deform a deformation zone (48) when the rod (42) moves translationally, with the visible surface including holding elements for coupling the body (36) to a tool that is used for driving the rod (42) in rotation, whereby the holding elements include at least one lug (52) that is connected at the visible surface (38) and that projects relative to the latter, characterized in that the at least one lug (52) is connected to the body (36) by a junction zone (54) that can break when the lug undergoes a force that exceeds a given threshold.

  • Patent number: 9011062
Abstract: An assembly comprising at least two non-metal components which are fixed to each other using at least one fixing system. The fixing system includes a fixing device with a fixing element which is provided with a head and a rod, and a crimping ring which is in contact with one of the components. A protection device is a part of the fixing system which delimits a cavity for confining gas around a portion of the device comprising the crimping ring. In order to improve the repeatability of the operation for positioning the protection device, a guiding device is provided which includes an assembly element on the portion of the fixing device, and an element for guiding the protection device.
