    Abstract: A storage container for fish. The container has at least one receiving slot for accepting fish and an insert is provided with a mouth and a flange that corresponds in shape to the slot. The insert includes a rearwardly and downwardly projecting tongue, which projects from the rear side of the flange and into the interior chamber, thereby providing a passageway to the interior chamber for the fish deposited into the slot.
