  • Publication number: 20080308117
Abstract: A fluid delivery device includes an accumulator, a deformable fluid reservoir, a user-actuated valve, a fluid delivery channel and an application element. The accumulator accumulates pressure and houses the fluid reservoir. The fluid delivery channel couples the fluid reservoir on a proximal end and extends to a distal end. A user-actuated valve controls a flow rate of fluid passing through the fluid delivery channel from the fluid reservoir to the distal end in response to pressure in the accumulator being above a predetermined threshold. The application element is coupled to the distal end of the fluid delivery channel to facilitate dispersal of fluid from the fluid delivery channel.

  • Publication number: 20070219500
Abstract: A universal securing device for holding catheters of various shapes and sizes and the like in place includes a base and cover. The cover may be connected to the base by a hinge which allows the cover to be lifted open or pushed down into a closed position, over a catheter fitting. The base may have locating elements configured and arranged to fit around catheter fittings of various sizes, and the locating elements prevent substantial movement of a catheter fitting and catheter in various dimensions. The cover may include capture elements which act to grip and compress the catheter fitting when the securing device is in a closed position, thus preventing substantial movement of a catheter fitting and catheter in various dimensions. The base may be attached to a patient with an adhesive pad attached to the bottom surface of the base.

  • Publication number: 20070062147
Abstract: The portable folding floor unit has two or more sections, each of the sections being essentially identical rectangular planar sections. The sections are connected to one another along their lengths with the use of hinges, providing a flooring unit that can fold up in an accordion style for easy transportation and use. An alternate embodiment of the portable folding floor unit has two rectangular planar end sections with protruding hinge pieces along one length. A series of middle sections are provided with protruding hinge pieces along opposing lengths such that the two end sections and middle sections can be interlocked. A series of rods can be placed through the interlocking hinge pieces to produce the portable folding floor unit with an accordion style folding.

  • Publication number: 20050016542
Abstract: An aerosol delivery system includes an endotracheal tube with a sub-port having a sufficient diameter to permit the passage of a sub-port tube therethrough. The sub-port tube passes within the interior of the endotracheal tube via the sub-port and includes a passageway that terminates in an atomizer nozzle at the distal end of the sub-port tube. The atomizer nozzle and the endotracheal tube are integrally connected to one another at a distal end base outlet of the endotracheal tube. A delivery conduit having an atomizer connector at its distal end is adapted to be connected to a canister for delivering fluid under pressure. The delivery conduit has a sufficient length to pass within the sub-port tube to lockingly engage the atomizer nozzle atomizer, whereby fluid delivered under pressure from the canister flows to the atomizer nozzle causing an aerosol mist to be dispensed from the endotracheal tube atomizer nozzle.
