Publication number: 20220272092Abstract: The decentralized network access systems and methods include networking computers through a decentralized registry of content and user network locations managed by a cooperative network of users (peers), where any and all peers may discover and deliver resources or resource locations to any other peer. The decentralized network access systems and methods determine an optimal route through a computer network from which to receive a network resource. The decentralized network access app establishes a network of users who can become nodes on potential network paths, sharing location information of requested resources through a network of peers. The systems and methods of the invention provide multiple paths to resources, avoiding firewalls and other blocked network paths, while providing additional layers of reliability to networks.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2022Publication date: August 25, 2022Inventors: Clifford F. Publication number: 20200342459Abstract: The trusted customer identity systems and methods of the invention provide secure electronic payment transactions that incorporate a customer identity verification using cross-referenced multiple data sources. The invention employs two distinct authorities to provide payment speed, simplicity, and security. The invention incorporates a network path-based identity methodology that does not require a shared piece of information between two parties. A first party receives a secure token to which it has sole access and controls possession of unique data that they append to the token. Prior to a transaction, a unique identifying characteristic of the party is used to register it as a member of the trusted customer network. The other parties on the network do not possess a copy of the unique data but, based on the registration characteristics of the first party, they know when they receive the token that only the first party could have added the unique data to the digital token.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 24, 2020Publication date: October 29, 2020Inventors: Clifford F. Patent number: 10410209Abstract: A system and method of exchanging assets splits authentication of the parties in the transaction from real-time validation of the assets used in the transaction. Electronic representations of currency or other value of an asset provide a mechanism for the electronic transfer of the ownership of those assets. Digital tokens or other electronic money is created, issued, purchased, validated, and redeemed within an electronic exchange. Ownership of the token is established by the physical possession of the token along with a public key certificate that decrypts the owner's copy of the token. Tokens are stored in digital wallets and are transferred using private p2p communications channels or NFC. The separation of the authentication of the parties using an authentication authority (registry) and the validation of the assets using a transaction authority allows personal anonymity. Privacy is maintained, and no single authority has a complete audit trail of the transaction.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2014Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: SHAZZLE, LLCInventors: Clifford F. Boyle, Robert E. McGill, Igor V. Slepinin

Patent number: 10200325Abstract: A sending computer (sender) delivers private messages over a network via dynamically established encrypted channels where no copies of the message are persisted on third party computers. Private messages are routed dynamically based on membership status of the receiving computer (receiver) and direct addressability status of the sender and receiver. The system determines membership status of the receiver and provides a notification message and delivery link to the receiver when the receiver is not a member of the private network. When the receiver is a member, direct addressability of sender and receiver is determined, and the message is delivered directly to the receiver over an encrypted channel when the sender is directly addressable. When the sender is not directly addressable, the encrypted channel between the sender and receiver is established through a third party relay without persisting a copy of the private message on the third party relay.Type: GrantFiled: August 25, 2014Date of Patent: February 5, 2019Assignee: SHAZZLE LLCInventors: Clifford F. Boyle, Robert E. McGill, Igor V. Slepinin

Patent number: 8819412Abstract: A private document delivery system and method includes a sending computer configured to transmit an electronic document over a computer network, a dynamically established encrypted line to traverse the computer network from a receiving computer to the sending computer where the delivery address of the receiving computer is resolved at the time of transmission of the private message such that no third parties to the message receive a permanent copy of the message. The system and method also includes a signaling mechanism configured to notify the receiving computer that the electronic document is waiting for delivery. The system and method includes a verification agent configured to verify the receiving computer's identity with a protocol specified by the sending computer and to provide access instructions to the receiving computer with which the receiving computer locates the sending computer via the dynamically established encrypted line and receives the transmitted electronic document.Type: GrantFiled: April 29, 2011Date of Patent: August 26, 2014Assignee: Shazzle LLCInventors: Igor V. Patent number: 8612243Abstract: A system for storing, managing, and accessing information on a network by providing an interface between a social network and a content network includes an applications platform. The system provides messaging and social networking facility incorporating enhanced instant messaging, file synchronization, network presence, interactive chat capabilities, text messaging, voice and video messaging, blogging, and email. The system includes a viewer, an indexing facility, and a storage facility. The viewer enables users to traverse content and provides services based upon context of time, place, structure, node, and observed user behavior. The viewer provides a means for users to interact with information on the network and services to manipulate information and transact activities. The indexing facility manages the structure of the network and tracks attributes and controlled vocabularies. The indexing facility supports navigation across the structure and resolves the logical index to a physical storage location.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2011Date of Patent: December 17, 2013Assignee: Shazzle LLCInventors: Robert E. McGill, Clifford F. Boyle, Jamie Mazur, Jason Mazur, Alex Gerus, Eugene Berkov, Kunal Bhomick

Publication number: 20120265828Abstract: A private document delivery system and method includes a home bridge computer configured to securely deliver an electronic document over a computer network. The home bridge computer combines SSL security, authentication, and direct data transfer in a link delivery system to maintain security of private electronic documents. The private electronic documents and messages transmitted via the home bridge computer are not stored during transit on the computer network, and no third parties to the message receive a permanent copy of the message. The systems and methods also include signaling mechanisms configured to notify the receiving computer that the electronic document is awaiting delivery. The system and method includes a network registry configured to verify the receiving computer's identity with a protocol specified by the sending computer and to provide access instructions to the receiving computer with which the receiving computer locates the home bridge and retrieves the private message.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 12, 2012Publication date: October 18, 2012Inventors: Igor SLEPININ, Clifford F.
