  • Patent number: 8150722
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed that provide for processing claims. The system and method include receiving a claim from a customer and determining if a customer average value associated with the customer is greater than or equal to a threshold value. The system and method also include processing the claim when the customer average value is less than the threshold value and determining if the claim meets one or more predetermined parameters when the customer average value is greater than or equal to the threshold value. In addition, the system and method include processing the claim when the claim meets the one or more predetermined parameters and forwarding the claim for further investigation when the claim fails to meet the one or more predetermined parameters and the customer average value is greater than or equal to the threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20080120205
Abstract: A method is disclosed that provides for automated processing of inventory discrepancies. In one embodiment, the method includes identifying an inventory discrepancy between an expected quantity of an inventory item and an actual quantity of the inventory item. The method further includes generating a discrepancy record based on the inventory discrepancy. The discrepancy record may include a plurality of data fields. In addition, the method includes evaluating one or more of the plurality of data fields and determining a priority for the discrepancy record based on the evaluation.

  • Publication number: 20080027835
Abstract: A method for maintaining inventory records between audit periods includes establishing a virtual bin associated with an actual inventory record and collecting data indicative of actual quantities of one or more products associated with an inventory. The data indicative of the actual quantities of each of the one or more products is compared with the inventory record associated with the corresponding product. An inventory adjustment factor is determined for each of the one or more products based on the comparison. The inventory adjustment factor for each of the one or more products is stored in the virtual bin. The method also includes adjusting the inventory record associated with each of the one or more products based on the stored inventory adjustment factor.

  • Publication number: 20080027834
Abstract: Methods and systems for inventory management are disclosed. In one embodiment, an inventory manager may use an inventory management system to select an inventory management performance metric. The inventory manager may associate a performance metric with a plurality of performance categories. The performance categories indicate a plurality of measurement ranges of the performance metric. The inventory manager may receive inventory management data indicating performance of a business organization measured according to the performance metric. The inventory manager may use the inventory management system to determine a performance category for the business organization based on the inventory management data, and to provide a remedial action plan to the business organization in response to the determination of the performance category.

  • Publication number: 20050083122
Abstract: An efficient broadband amplifier. The amplifier includes a mechanism for amplifying an input signal via a high-speed switch and providing an amplified signal in response thereto. Another mechanism filters the amplified signal via common mode rejection and provides an output signal in response thereto. In a specific embodiment, the mechanism for filtering includes a first mechanism for separating an input signal into plural intermediate signals. The mechanism for amplifying includes a second mechanism for amplifying the plural intermediate signals via one or more high-speed switches and providing plural amplified signals in response thereto. The mechanism for filtering further includes a third mechanism for employing common mode rejection to filter the plural amplified signals, yielding a single output signal in response thereto.
