  • Patent number: 5818519
Abstract: A surveillance camera mounting apparatus formed from a lightweight, elastically deformable material, such as foam plastic, for mounting a surveillance camera in a transparent enclosure of the type used on a building surface such as a ceiling or wall. The mounting apparatus comprises an elastically deformable body element which includes a camera-receiving opening for receiving and holding a surveillance camera therein. The resiliency of the body element enables a portion of the body element which surrounds the camera-receiving opening to elastically deform thereby permitting the camera-receiving opening to dilate to accommodate the surveillance camera. Due to its resiliency, the body element resists such deformation and the camera-receiving opening closes around the surveillance camera and conforms to the camera thereby holding the camera within the opening.

  • Patent number: 5618019
Abstract: A bumper installation for a sensor gate that detects and prevents shoplifting includes a cushion adhered to an interior side of a rigid casing. The cushion has a cavity formed therein which has a shape complementary to an external configuration of the sensor gate. Once installed on the sensor gate, the bumper installation deflects and absorbs the impact of objects colliding with the bumper, thereby protecting the sensor gate from damage and preventing the impacting objects from adversely effecting the calibration of the sensor gate.

  • Patent number: 4764008
Abstract: A novel and useful surveillance camera housing assembly is provided. The assembly is easily mounted as a sturdy arrangement as a rectangular section of a suspended ceiling. A pair of side supports of the assembly extend over the cross forming inverted T-shaped ceiling support members which define the rectangular section and rest on the outer edges of each of the inverted T-shaped ceiling supporting members. A bridge spans the side supports from which a surveillance camera mounting depends. A frame with radiating legs is attached to the camera mounting. An inner dome is attached to the frame in a quick detachable relationship. An outer dome with a rectangular base approximating the size of the rectangular section is provided along one edge with horizontally projecting ears for supporting the outer dome between two parallel disposed inverted T-shaped ceiling support members when the outerdome is pivotted downwardly about the horizontal axis of the ear bearing edges of the outer dome.
