  • Patent number: 6095583
Abstract: An apparatus for retrieving an object from a wellbore has been invented having an inner body and a longitudinal fluid flow bore therethrough, and at least one lateral flow bore therethrough, the bottom end having an opening suitable for receiving therein a fluid actuable member disposed for reciprocation with respect to the inner body, bias apparatus contacting the fluid actuable member for moving the fluid actuable member with respect to the inner body, and the fluid actuable member disposed so that the bias apparatus can push the fluid actuable member down to contact a plurality of fingers and move them into the longitudinal flow bore to engage the object in the wellbore when insufficient fluid pressure is present to overcome force of the bias apparatus in the fluid actuable member.

  • Patent number: 6012381
Abstract: A convection meat cooker characterized by an elongated, cylindrical cooker tank which, in a preferred embodiment, is provided on a portable cooker frame and includes concentric outer, middle and inner shells. The inner shell defines an interior cooking chamber which is hermetically sealed by a door hinged to the outer shell at one end of the cooker tank and a cylindrical, annular heat chamber is defined between the middle and inner shells throughout the length of the cooker tank. Insulation is typically provided between the middle and outer shells of the cooker tank. A heat entrance port extends from the middle shell and receives a propane-fueled burner for heating the cylindrical heat chamber and a heat exit port vents excess heat from the annular heat chamber. An open water container may be removably attached to the cooker frame and pressure vent piping provided in fluid communication with the cooking chamber is immersed in water provided in the water container.

  • Patent number: 5791712
Abstract: A spear fishing tool for engaging an object to be removed from a well bore, commonly called a "fish". The spear fishing tool is characterized by a cylindrical housing, typically attached to a length of coiled tubing by means of a top sub and fitted with a reciprocating, hydraulically-operated plunger seated on an internal spring and having a bevelled end facing the down-hole "fish". Multiple latch fingers lie adjacent to the housing and are movably secured in place between the housing and plunger by means of a slotted finger collar threadably attached to the housing.
