Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to irrigation systems. More particularly, but not exclusively, the present disclosure relates to individually controlling operation or functionality of one or more irrigation heads in an irrigation system that includes a number of irrigation heads. In one form, an irrigation system includes a number of irrigation heads and at least a first irrigation head of the number of irrigation heads includes a wireless transceiver. The system also includes a program module configured to wirelessly connect with the wireless transceiver of the first irrigation head. At least one operational aspect of the first irrigation head is controllable by the program module independent of the other irrigation heads of the number of irrigation heads.
