Abstract: The present invention is a portable compact fire ring device used to contain a fire in an outdoor fire pit that includes a plurality of metal containment plates with a front facing and a back facing and decorative animal indicia disposed on the front facing or the back facing. There is also a cut-out portion on the containment plates to allow light from the fire that can be seen outside of the device and natural airflow and ventilation of the fire and a plurality of clips utilized to hold the containment plates together forming the device and are utilized to assemble and reassembly the device. The animal indicia can be a deer, a bear or an eagle and the device can be used in combination with a grilling or cooking surface.
