  • Patent number: 10607304
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic transportation resource arbitrage (DTRA) may include configuring a server to dynamically manage the use of transportation resources. The server may identify, analyze, organize, and/or package available transportation resources (e.g., segments of roadways in a geographical area, etc.) as granular vehicular occupancy opportunity (VOO) elements/units that each identify an amount of a resource that is offered for allocation and use to travelers. The granular VOO elements/units may be well-defined, discrete, standardized, combinable, and/or fungible information structures or units that are suitable for comparison and/or mutual substitution. The server computing device may combine the granular VOOs to cover a specific corridor (e.g., an area that encompasses ten miles of the left lane of a highway, etc.), and dynamically offer a vehicle the right to access and use the transportation resources identified by a combination of VOOs.

Abstract: An ordnance munition is included in an intelligent ordnance projectile delivery system and equipped with targeting and guidance systems that allow the ordnance munition to collaborate with other devices to intelligently select targets and/or to guide the ordnance munition to its selected target. The ordnance munition may determine its approximate current location, form a communication group with a wireless transceiver that is in close proximity, and send the approximate current location to the wireless transceiver and/or other devices in the communication group. In response, the ordnance munition may receive location information from the wireless transceiver and/or other devices that are in the communication group. • Patent number: 10045153
Abstract: Methods, devices and systems for generating enhanced location information on or about a wireless device. A fixed wireless device (e.g., fixed infrastructure device) may be configured to determine its current location based on location information received from one or more other devices. For example, the fixed wireless device may determine its current three-dimensional location based on latitude coordinate values, longitude coordinate values, and altitude coordinate values received from a plurality of the devices that are in proximity to the fixed wireless device. The fixed wireless device may then dynamically determine whether the fixed wireless device should be included in a telecommunication resource lease based on its determined current location. The fixed wireless device may allocate its available radio frequency resources use by devices that subscribe to a different network in response to determining that it should be included in the telecommunication resource lease.

  • Publication number: 20180167824
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems of various embodiments involve dynamic spectrum arbitrage (DSA) to determine, in a first server, an amount of radio frequency (RF) spectrum resources available for delivery of advertisements. A first DSA-advertisement lease proposal may be sent to a telecommunications exchange. The first DSA-advertisement lease proposal indicates the amount of RF spectrum resources available for delivery of the advertisements. A lease confirmation message may be received, including an ad-information unit configured to deliver content of an advertisement within a designated geographic zone. Advertisement-lease parameters may be sent to a second server in the first communication network. The advertisement-lease parameters may include the ad-information unit and identify the designated geographic zone for delivery of the advertisement to user equipment (UE) situated therein.

  • Publication number: 20180103379
Abstract: Methods and system are provided for managing and monitoring allocation of RF spectrum resources based on time, space and frequency. A network may be enabled to allocate excess spectrum resources for use by other network providers on a real-time basis. Allocated resources may be transferred from one provider with excess resources to another in need of additional resources based on contractual terms or on a real-time purchase negotiations and settlements. A network may be enabled to monitor the use of allocated resources on real-time basis and off-load or allow additional users depending on the spectrum resources availability. Public safety networks may be enabled to make spectrum resources available to general public by allocating spectrum resources and monitoring the use of those resources. During an emergency, when traffic increases on a public safety network, the public safety networks may off-load bandwidth traffic to make available necessary resources for public safety users.
