  • Publication number: 20210369946
Abstract: A delivery assembly includes a console including a vial containment region and a vial engagement mechanism extending from the console within the vial containment region. The engagement mechanism is configured to engage a vial assembly. The delivery assembly further includes a sled assembly removably coupled to the console at the vial containment region and a safety shield removably coupled to the console over the vial containment region such that the vial engagement mechanism and the sled assembly are encapsulated within the safety shield when the safety shield is coupled thereto. The sled assembly, the vial assembly, and the safety shield are configured to inhibit radioactive emissions from within the vial containment region.

  • Publication number: 20210268238
Abstract: Valve assemblies having improved ability to selectively control flow of fluids through the catheter and prevent leakage of fluids from the proximal end of a catheter that is positioned within a patient. Such improved catheter valve assemblies also prevent leakage of fluids after repeated insertion and removal of medical instruments through the valve.

  • Publication number: 20210031009
Abstract: Methods and devices to facilitate positioning of a catheter into a vessel. Devices include axially concentric assemblies of a piercing needle and a dilator that guides an outer catheter into a vessel, such as a blood vessel. The assemblies described herein can include retraction mechanisms and/or lock mechanisms to control needle positioning during catheterization processes as well as improved valves that prevent leakage of fluid from the proximal end of the devices. The devices and method include the use of novel valves to prevent undesired leakage of fluids through the proximal end of the catheter.

  • Patent number: 10222017
Abstract: An embodiment can include a lamp safe system that includes an inner casing member and an outer casing member, a base member, a lampshade, a lamp body, and a base member. A inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member, and a lamp body member can be placed over and removably attached to an outer casing member. An inner casing member can include two or more walls, and a top surface and a bottom surface. An inner casing member can have attachment points for a lead, screw, a lead screw nut, and guide rails. An inner casing member can have a locking mechanism that can keep the inner casing member inside an outer casing member and lamp body. An outer casing can substantially surround an inner casing. An outer casing can have attachment points for an inner casing member to move in and out of through guide rail supports An inner casing member can move in and out of an outer casing member through a motor rotating a lead screw.
