Abstract: A hot air welder capable of reaching temperatures of at least 700° C., comprising a housing with an electric motor, at least one fan for forcibly moving air across a heating element and out of the gun and wherein the heating element is formed from a plurality of electrical wire winding interposed through a series of axially aligned ceramic disks, each disk having a number of circumferentially aligned openings through which the wire windings are oriented and mechanisms for selectively operating the device and electrically controlling the temperature of the heating element.
