Abstract: A system and method of delivering video content over a network in communication with a subscriber having an associated electronic device is disclosed. A plurality of staggered streams of video content is delivered over a network. A segment of the video content is pushed onto the electronic device. A request for the video content is received at the electronic device, the pushed segment of video content is retrieved from the electronic device and the pushed segment of video content is displayed to the subscriber. A staggered stream of video content delivered over network is located and recorded on the electronic device.

Abstract: A method for providing multiple uses of printer coversheets comprises providing a printer having a dedicated coversheet tray, a document sheet tray, and a scanning device, and receiving a print command from a user with an associated username. The method includes drawing a coversheet from the dedicated coversheet tray to be positioned adjacent the printed file, the coversheet having a plurality of predetermined username positions and a corresponding plurality of predetermined barcode positions. The method further includes performing a barcode scan of the coversheet, determining at which username position to print the username based on the results of the barcode scan, and printing the username at the next-available username position. The method also includes printing a barcode on the coversheet at the one of the barcode positions which corresponds to the username position at which the username is printed.

Abstract: A system and method for delivering video content over a network comprises providing a network server and a database, receiving a request for video content at the network server, querying the database to determine subscribers likely interested in the video content, and delivering the video content to network devices associated with subscribers likely interested in the video content. The database stores data associated with the viewing habits of network subscribers. The querying step results in the identification of a subset of subscribers likely interested in the video content.

Abstract: The illustrative embodiments described herein are directed to a systems, methods, and communication devices for displaying an image in a plurality of directions. In one embodiment, the communication device includes a memory adapted to store an image and a plurality of display surfaces. Each of the plurality of display surfaces may face a different direction. Also, the plurality of display surfaces may each be operable to display a different portion of the image.

Abstract: A cubicle privacy screen system includes a roller and a screen having a distal end. The screen is wound on the roller and movable between an extended position and a retracted position. A first attachment device is included for securing the roller to a first cubicle wall, and a second attachment device is included for releasably securing the distal end of the screen to a second cubicle wall.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for network service provisioning includes receiving a network address request from a subscriber device. The network address request includes at least one data cell including a channel identifier associated with the subscriber device. The channel identifier identifies the subscriber device for a cell-switched network The method further includes determining the channel identifier from the network address request, and generating a customer tag using the channel identifier.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer usable program product for transmitting intercepted VOIP data are provided in the illustrative embodiments. A VOIP call is intercepted in response to a lawful request for intercept by a law enforcement agency. VOIP data associated with the intercepted VOIP call is encrypted. The encryption may use a virtual private network an encryption using a key of a specific length, bit stuffing, or other encryption methods. The encrypted VOIP data is transmitted to the law enforcement agency using a public data network either during the VOIP call or after the VOIP call. The intercept request may be made during the VOIP call, or before the VOIP call. Furthermore, the VOIP data of the VOIP call may be stored before transmitting to the law enforcement agency, and archived based on archiving rules. The request for the intercept may be queued for processing according to queuing rules.

Abstract: A system for re-aligning an antenna communicating signals point-to-point. The system may include a first antenna, a second antenna configured to communicate a communications signal with the first antenna using point-to-point communications, and a position controller coupled to the first antenna and configured to re-align the first antenna with respect to the second antenna in response to determining a misalignment of the antenna.

By displaying an image prior to the video programming, the end-user may determine whether he or she wants to watch the video program prior to the video programming being displayed, which improves the speed of “channel surfing.” Because end-users can view the image when selecting a channel, a network can be configured to distribute the channels that are currently being watched rather than distributing many on a continuous basis, thereby preserving bandwidth.

The wireless device may be configured to enable a user to communicate with other users of wireless devices. Receipt of the internal signal may cause the wireless device to communicate the data to a remote location. The remote location may be a service provider or public safety organization located on a network, such as the public switched telephone network or wireless communications network (e.g., mobile telephone network).
