  • Patent number: 10706011
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and content management apparatus receives a storage request including content and context information associated with the received content, the context information comprising at least metadata and information for one or more user tags, wherein the user tags are customizable and established by an administrator. One of a plurality of types of content is identified for the received content. Searchable information is extracted from the received content based on the identified one of the plurality of types of content. A searchable index is generated for the received content based on at least the extracted searchable information and the context information associated with the received content. The received content is stored in a manner which is retrievable based on one or more associations in the generated searchable index.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 6, 2013
Date of Patent: July 7, 2020
    Assignee: INFOPRESERVE INC.
Inventors: Eric J. Leinberg, Clive R. Daunton, Jacob A. Constantinides

  • Patent number: 6603945
Abstract: A duplex/simplex printer for producing toner particle images on opposite sides of a substrate during a duplex mode or producing toner particle images on one side of the substrate during a simplex mode including: means for forming a first toner particle image on an imaging member with toner particles electrostatically charged to a first polarity; an image conditioner, being enable only during the duplex mode, for reversing the charge polarity of the particles of the first toner particle image on the imaging member; an intermediate member for receiving of the first toner particle image during the duplex mode; a bias transfer roll, positioned opposed from the imaging member with the intermediate member therebetween, for transferring the first image to the intermediate member by moving the intermediate member and the imaging member past the bias transfer roll being charged at the first polarity during the duplex mode, the duplex mode includes the forming means forming a second toner particle image on the imaging

  • Patent number: 5771424
Abstract: A preconditioning process and dual electrostatic brush cleaning apparatus for reducing adhesion of toner particles on the photoreceptor surface such that cleaning of the photoreceptor is enhanced. Preconditioning of the brush and/or the photoreceptor in the cleaning apparatus allows for cleaning of dual polarity toners, CAD toners and DAD toners. The preconditioning of the brush does not need replenishing once the print operation begins due to the electrostatics that maintain a constant predetermined level of toner in the brush.

  • Patent number: 5247328
Abstract: An apparatus for charging a photoconductive surface to a substantially uniform potential in a printing machine having a cleaning station for cleaning the surface and an exposure station for exposing the surface to a light source includes a first mechanism for charging the surface to a substantially uniform potential of a first polarity after the surface is cleaned at the cleaning station. The apparatus further includes a second mechanism for charging the surface to a substantially uniform potential of a second polarity opposite to the first polarity after the surface is charged to the substantially uniform potential of the first polarity by the first charging mechanism and before the surface is exposed to the light source at the exposure station.
