An insert is selectively removable from the storage compartment and configured to receive and hold specialized vehicle hardware. A user is able to open the lid to access the storage compartment and subsequently remove the insert, thereby enabling the user to move the insert to a different location of the vehicle to add or remove the specialized vehicle hardware thereto or therefrom.
