Abstract: Computer systems and methods for managing sensitive data items when performing a computer-implemented digital forensic workflow using on-premises (“on-prem”) and cloud resources are provided. The system includes a control computing node configured to: store the digital forensic workflow in a memory; and allocate forensic data processing tasks corresponding to portions of the digital forensic workflow to processing node computing devices (“processing nodes”) for execution by the processing nodes, the processing nodes communicatively connected to the control computing node via at least one data communication network and including at least one cloud processing node and at least one on-premises (“on-prem”) processing node. The control computing node automatically restricts allocation of a given forensic data processing task to the at least one on-prem processing node when forensic data to be operated on in performance of the given processing task is tagged as sensitive.

Abstract: In various examples, the present system tracks gameplay timeframes for when a user is engaged in an instance of gameplay. The system can then determine one or more typical timeframe(s) for when the user engages in gameplay. In some embodiments, the user can access a team matching UI and request to be matched with other user accounts and/or to be presented with a list of other user accounts who might be a good match for the user, such as those associated with similar typical timeframes for gameplay. Based on the request from the user, a set of user accounts available to be matched can be ranked based, at least in part, on a similarity between gameplay timeframes associated with the user and each of the user accounts in the set of user accounts. Using the ranking, the system can generate a team of users with similar typical gameplay timeframes.

Abstract: A method, electronic device, and device-readable medium are provided for implementing a quick reply action for communication events listed in a unified inbox. In a unified inbox, a subset of communication event listings include a user interface element that is actuatable to initiate a reply to the communication event, while other listings in the unified inbox do not include this user interface element. In response to actuation of this user interface element, reply message content can be received, and provided to an application executing on the electronic device to send the content in a reply message.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing a mobile device with a message mailbox is described. The method includes: sending a request to the server to identify an initial subset of most recently received messages from among a plurality of messages for synchronization; retrieving the initial subset of messages from the server; and retrieving, from the server, messages belonging to a conversation that includes at least one of the messages in the initial subset, prior to retrieving more recently received messages that do not belong to any conversation that includes at least one of the messages in the initial subset.

Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and a communication device display an email message by receiving at least one incoming email message, determining the incoming email message originates from a different time zone than the time zone in which the communication device is currently located, and displaying the incoming email message in a prioritized position within a message listing. The incoming email may be displayed at a top of the message list, regardless of reception order. When a plurality of incoming email messages that originate from different time zones are received, each incoming email message is displayed in the message listing according to an absolute or relative time distance from the communication device. When the incoming email message has been read, the read email message is moved to a normal position within the message list.

Abstract: A method of controlling a portable electronic device includes, in response to receipt of selection of an option to enter a do not disturb mode at the portable electronic device, suppressing notifications for the communications received at the portable electronic device while in the do not disturb mode. The method also includes, in response to exiting the do not disturb mode, discontinuing suppressing notifications for new communications received at the portable electronic device, providing an option to view the communications received at the portable electronic device while in the do not disturb mode and, in response to receipt of selection of the option to view the communications received while in the do not disturb mode, displaying a consolidated list of the communications received at the portable electronic device while in the do not disturb mode. The consolidated list includes a plurality of electronic communication types.

A processor is coupled to the keyboard and to the touch-sensitive display to detect a touch at a location associated with a signature entry field displayed on the touch-sensitive display, in response to detecting the touch, enter a keyboard signature process, detect a moving touch on the mechanical keys of the keyboard, along a path of contact of the touch on the mechanical keys, and, in response to detecting completion of the moving touch, enter a signature defined by the path of contact of the touch on the mechanical keys into the signature entry field.

The user interface portion displayed after the second input includes the content that was associated with the user interface portion while the user interface portion was displayed with the first application user interface.
