  • Patent number: 12216532
Abstract: A system and method for providing access to third-party software tools as a service. A service access manager can communicate with one or more third parties to manage licenses associated with third-party software tools. A machine learning model can be trained using logs generated by the system and causes of detected errors to automatically determine the cause of errors occurring in the future. Vendor logs generated by software instances instantiated by third-party systems can be collected and used to improve error attribution.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: February 4, 2025
    Assignee: PAX8, INC.
    Inventors: Cody Hanson, Jeffrey Wise
  • Publication number: 20240362302
Abstract: A system and method for providing access to third-party software tools as a service. A standardized interface is provided for vendors to communicate with the service. In particular, one or more license information API endpoints allow vendors to provide license provisioning information related to the provisioning of a license to a third-party software tool and/or license information about the license to the service.

  • Patent number: 12079117
Abstract: A system and method for providing access to third-party application programming interfaces (APIs) as a service. In particular, an API access manager can be configured to execute one or more serverless functions selected form a database of serverless functions in order to obtain data from one or more third-party APIs. Execution of different versions of the serverless functions (e.g., original and refactored) can be compared to determine whether the versions are equivalent and deterministic.

  • Patent number: 10397071
Abstract: A system and method is provided for deploying a network monitoring agent to monitor a network. The method includes receiving a deployment request to deploy a monitoring agent, the monitoring agent including first executable instructions to monitor the network, the request specifying a region external from the network in which to deploy the monitoring agent. The method further includes installing the monitoring agent for execution within a controlled runtime environment on a host machine, the host machine operating in the specified region and having a single operating system. The monitoring agent is executed within the controlled runtime environment to monitor the network from an external perspective of the network. In the controlled runtime environment, during execution of the monitoring agent, all areas of the operating system that are writable by the monitoring agent are isolated from areas of the operating system that are writable by any other software application using the operating system.
