  • Publication number: 20250082466
Abstract: Described embodiments are directed toward prosthetic valves and systems and methods of making prosthetic valves. For example, a prosthetic valve can comprise a frame defining a generally tubular shape and comprising frame members defining an open pattern of apertures, where the open pattern of apertures includes a plurality of windows and a plurality of circumferentially extending rows of apertures. Each window has a first width, each aperture of the circumferentially extending rows of apertures has a second width, the first width being at least double the second width, and the widths defined in the circumferential direction. The prosthetic valve can further comprise a plurality of leaflets formed from a single sheet of material, where the plurality of leaflets extends from the frame.

  • Patent number: 12226329
Abstract: An improved medical device reduces the loss of longitudinal length during expansion of a stent-graft from a compressed state to an expanded state. For example, the stent-graft is placed over a cover that provides resistance to expansion of the balloon during inflation, which reduces longitudinal compressing forces exerted on the stent-graft.
