Abstract: A bow tie is provided. The bow tie includes a first discrete portion, the first discrete portion having a first connecting end and a first tying end and a second discrete portion, the second discrete portion having a second connecting end and a second tying end. The first and second tying ends can be tied into a knot having first and second bows. The second connecting end can have a loop through a connector, the loop being adjustably connected to the second connecting end. The first connecting end can include a hook and loop fastener and can be threaded through the connector.
