  • Publication number: 20230015345
Abstract: Accordingly, systems and methods have been developed to monitor, diagnose, and predict the course of COPD and determine what stage of COPD a patient is currently experiencing based, for example, analysis of respiratory sounds and images of sputum. This includes systems and methods that may be performed by the patient in the home in some cases, and some that utilized sensors available on mobile devices including microphones and cameras. The system may also be able to predict COPD exacerbation events and warn caregivers in advance.

  • Publication number: 20220366322
Abstract: Methods and Systems implement patient management. In some cases, a patient management system may include one or more respiratory pressure therapy devices to deliver respiratory pressure therapy to patients, and generate therapy data relating to a therapy session for a patient. The patient management system may include a data server communicating with the therapy device(s). The data server may compute, from therapy data, therapy summary data for the session, the summary data may include one or more statistics summarising therapy data. The patient management system may include a therapy management server communicating with the data server. The therapy management server may apply one or more rules to the summary data, update or generate one or more workflow groups of patients, each workflow group corresponding to a rule, depending on results of the respective rule applications; and/or serve a graphical layout representing one or more workflow groups.

  • Publication number: 20220354419
Abstract: Accordingly, systems and methods have been developed to monitor, diagnose, and predict the course of a wound to aid in determining whether a wound is properly healing. This includes systems and methods that may be performed by the patient in the home in some cases, and some that utilized sensors available on mobile devices. Thus, patients may be able to manage wounds at home without the intervention of caregivers and reduce the costs of admission to hospitals.

  • Patent number: 11367023
Abstract: Methods and Systems implement patient management. In some cases, a patient management system 200 may include one or more respiratory pressure therapy devices to deliver respiratory pressure therapy to patients, and generate therapy data relating to a therapy session for a patient. The patient management system may include a data server communicating with the therapy device(s). The data server may compute, from therapy data, therapy summary data for the session, the summary data may include one or more statistics summarising therapy data. • Publication number: 20220023567
Abstract: A system and method for assisting a patient in setting up and using respiratory therapy device is disclosed. The system includes an equipment database storing data relating to respiratory therapy device types and mask types. A device recognition module is operable to identify the type of the respiratory therapy device from an image of the respiratory therapy device captured by a client computing device in comparison with the data relating to the device types. A mask recognition module is operable to identify the type of the mask from an image of the mask captured by the client computing device in comparison with the data relating to the mask types. A media database includes media relating to assistance information relating to mask types and device types. A management server is operable to send media relating to assistance information for the identified type of mask or identified type of device to the client computing device.

  • Publication number: 20220020488
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the health of a patient is disclosed. The system includes a respiratory therapy device having a transmitter and an air control device to provide respiratory therapy to a patient. The respiratory therapy device collects operational data and transmits the collected operational data. A health analysis engine is in communication with the respiratory therapy device. The health analysis engine receives the collected data to determine a health condition of the patient based on the collected data. The respiratory therapy device sends either low or high resolution data to the health analysis engine. The high resolution data is transmitted based on the occurrence of an event detected based on the low resolution data.
