  • Publication number: 20220104571
Abstract: A low profile closure may comprise a receiver coupled to a first portion of a waistband of an article of clothing, the receiver comprising a flexible main body defining a plurality of loops, each loop defining an entry point facing a direction orthogonal to a circumference of the waistband and a hook device coupled to a second portion of the waistband, the hook device comprising a main body and a hook element extending from the main body, wherein the hook element defines a space between the main body and the hook element and is configured to be selectively inserted into one or more of the plurality of loops in a direction orthogonal to a circumference of the waistband to adjust a circumference of the waistband and to couple the first portion of the waistband to the second portion of the waistband.

  • Patent number: 10772372
Abstract: A hood for a garment. As assembled, the garment includes a covering for a torso portion of an intended user. The torso portion includes a back section that includes at least two panels defining an interstitial space for stowing a flattened hood. The hood assembled to the garment includes one or more panels of drapable sheet material configured to cover an intended user's head. The hood has a body having one or more perimetrical edges defining a facial area 11 configured to expose a predetermined portion of an intended user's face. The hood has a top section, with downwardly extending back and side sections. The hood is flattenable, without folding, rolling, creasing, crumpling, etc. so as to either not (1) reduce the length or width of the hood relative to an intended donned state or (2) substantially overlap materials in the flattened state. The hood is anchored to the torso portion along a back perimetrical edge of the hood to at least one of the torso portion panels.

  • Patent number: 10470508
Abstract: A pocket for a garment comprising a compartment having a top opening, two opposing sidewalls, and a bottom wall; a cradle having a support portion configured to receive an item; and a retainer having opposing first and second ends attached to corresponding first and second anchor areas on opposite sides of the compartment, the first end being detachable from the first anchor area, and when both opposing ends are attached to their corresponding anchor areas, the retainer spans the top opening so as to retain the item in the compartment; wherein the support portion is movable from a first raised, unbiased position to a second recessed, biased position so that when the item is supported in the cradle in the second position, an ejection force is applied to the item when the first end is detached from the first anchor area, causing the cradle to move toward the first position.
