  • Patent number: 9482067
Abstract: A hydraulic anchor is coupled to a packer subassembly of a tool string. The hydraulic anchor, when actuated by fluid pressure, engages the surrounding wellbore, holding the tool string in place within the wellbore. A packer may then be actuated, held in position within the wellbore by the hydraulic anchor. In some embodiments, an inflatable packer may be held in the desired location by the hydraulic anchor. In some embodiments, a straddle packer assembly may be held in place by the hydraulic anchor. In some embodiments, a swellable packer may be held in place during the swelling process by the hydraulic anchor.

Date of Patent: November 1, 2016
    Assignee: TAM INTERNATIONAL, INC.

  • Patent number: 5096640
Abstract: A method of producing a highly porous melt spun fibrous tube for use as a separation medium comprising melt spinning a blend containing from 30 to 70 parts by weight of a first polymeric component and from 70 to 30 parts by weight of a second polymeric component to form a tube having a wall consisting of interpenetrating networks of the two polymeric components and, using a suitable solvent, leaching out of the tube wall one of the two polymer networks so producing a tube having a wall comprising the other polymer network.

  • Patent number: 4977015
Abstract: A melt spun film or tape of a thermoplastic fibre-forming polymer comprising spaced fibrils of the polymer which are substantially aligned to the longitudinal axis of the film, such aligned, spaced fibrils being interconnted to each other in a random manner.

  • Patent number: 4822678
Abstract: A melt spun fiber or tube having two polymeric fibrous components and containing from 30 to 70 parts by weight of a first component and from 70 to 30 parts by weight of a second component, each component being present in the fiber or wall of the tube as fibrils which are substantially aligned to the axis of the fiber or tube the aligned fibrils being interconnected to each other in a random manner, the interconnections penetrating through the fibrils of the other component such that both components exist in the fiber or tube wall as interpenetrating networks.

  • Patent number: 4294710
Abstract: Detergent compositions having good cleaning performance and also textile softening properties comprise an organic surfactant, alkaline reacting water-soluble salts and a specified class of tertiary amines. Optionally and preferably a smectite-type clay is also present in the compositions. The present invention relates to detergent compositions which clean well and at the same time act as textile softeners.
