  • Patent number: 11957065
Abstract: Various techniques and apparatus permit fabrication of superconductive circuits. A superconducting integrated circuit comprising a superconducting stud via, a kinetic inductor, and a capacitor may be formed. Forming a superconducting stud via in a superconducting integrated circuit may include masking with a hard mask and masking with a soft mask. Forming a superconducting stud via in a superconducting integrated circuit may include depositing a dielectric etch stop layer. Interlayer misalignment in the fabrication of a superconducting integrated circuit may be measured by an electrical vernier. Interlayer misalignment in the fabrication of a superconducting integrated circuit may be measured by a chain of electrical verniers and a Wheatstone bridge. A superconducting integrated circuit with three or more metal layers may include an enclosed, matched, on-chip transmission line. A metal wiring layer in a superconducting integrated circuit may be encapsulated.

  • Patent number: 5408990
Abstract: A solar energy collection panel assembly particularly adapted for use in a sun tracking system, The assembly is made up of several elongated components that have uniform cross sections and are preferably formed by extrusion. Interlocking base members have upwardly directed channels which hold tubes partially surrounded by thermal insulation material. Lens support assemblies having a generally isosceles triangular cross section with the triangle bases secured to the base members with the triangle sides oriented to direct light entering between apexes toward the tubes. Grooves at each pair or apexes receive the edges of an elongated, uniform cross section, compound, concentrating, cylindrical lens to attach the lens to the assembly. The lenses focus incident light on the tubes. Right triangular edge lens support members provide square edges to the assembly. A structural strong and rigid housing is preferably used to receive, support and strengthen the assembly.

  • Patent number: 4135668
Abstract: A support assembly for a flat soaker hose comprising a spike insertable into the ground, said spike including mounting provisions at the top end thereof for receiving a clamp assembly at various angular dispositions. The clamp assembly is conformed to provide a plurality of cantilevered fingers disposed in staggered opposing alignment, the interior separation between fingers being dimensioned to provide a clamping fit about the soaker hose. One exterior surface of said clamp is furthermore joined to a mounting structure variously conformed for attachment to the upper end of said spike at various angular alignment. In a first embodiment the upper end of the spike is provided with a planar or rectangular cavity extending vertically downward along or parallel to the axis of the spike and the support structure is conformed as a planar member having a plurality of elongate, coplanar elements extending at various angular alignments therefrom each element being conformed for receipt in said cavity.
