The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key.

Abstract: A thermal disinfecting tool for disinfecting surfaces bounding or located within a fixed volume of air is disclosed and includes a housing and a heater. The housing defines one or more inlets and one or more outlets. Air is drawn from the fixed volume of air through the one or more inlets and exits the housing through the one or more outlets. The heater is disposed within the housing downstream of the one or more inlets and upstream of the one or more outlets. The thermal disinfecting tool also includes one or more processors in electronic communication with the heater and a memory coupled to the one or more processors, where the memory stores a time to inactivation plot for a specific pathogen that indicates a deactivation time for the specific pathogen over a range of temperatures.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for providing accurate images of cards. An application executing on a mobile device may receive authentication credentials for an account, determine a card associated with the account, and determine a card manufacturer identifier (CMID) of the card. The application may receive, from a digital asset management system based on the CMID, a plurality of metadata attributes of the card and one or more images of the card. The application may determine, based on the metadata attributes and attributes of the mobile device, a first orientation of the card to enable near-field communication (NFC) data transfer between the card and the mobile device. The application may select a first image of the card. The application may generate a graphical user interface (GUI) including the first image and an indication specifying to tap the card to the mobile device according to the first orientation.

Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein can determine when a digital transaction initiated in connection with a user account satisfies at least one predetermined risk factor. Responsive thereto, systems and methods disclosed herein can increase security to verify that the digital transaction is likely being initiated by an authorized user of the user account prior to executing the digital transaction in connection with the user account. To do so, a mobile device can communicate with a contactless card to receive a cryptogram therefrom, verify the cryptogram to identify the user account and to confirm that the contactless card is associated with the user account, and verify that a phone number of the mobile device is also associated with the user account.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced security to log in to a mobile application are provided. A short-range communication antenna of a mobile device can receive a cryptogram from a contactless card, and a processor of the mobile device can verify the cryptogram to identify a customer account associated with the contactless card and verify that a phone number of the mobile device is associated with the customer account. Then, a user interface device of the mobile device can receive enhanced security input data, and the the processor of the mobile device can verify that the enhanced security input data matches enhanced security record data associated with the customer account. When the cryptogram, the phone number of the mobile device, and the enhanced security input data have been verified, systems and methods disclosed here can log in to a mobile application running on the mobile device to access the customer account.

Abstract: Provided are methods and devices for assessing biological particles for use in cell immunotherapy. By utilizing a microfluidic chip device together with optical force measurement and cell imaging, the methods enable comprehensive assessment and characterization of biological particles with regard to morphology, motility, binding affinities, and susceptibility to external forces, including but not limited to, chemical, biochemical, biological, physical and temperature influences. The methods enable the selection and production of biological particles, such as engineered T-cells, for use in immunotherapy and biomanufacturing.

Abstract: A device receives a transaction request concerning a transaction and a transaction card from a transaction terminal, and determines, based on the transaction request, information concerning the transaction card. The device sends, based on the transaction request and to a user device, a query concerning possession of the transaction card by a user of the user device, where the query includes an instruction for the user to confirm possession of the transaction card via a component of the user device. The device receives, from the user device and after sending the query to the user device, a response concerning possession of the transaction card by the user, and determines, based on the response and the information concerning the transaction card, whether the user has possession of the transaction card. The device performs, based on determining whether the user has possession of the transaction card, at least one action.

The application may receive a decryption result from the authentication server indicating the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. Based on the decryption result, the application may request an OTP. The processor may receive an OTP from an OTP generator. The application may receive an input value and compare the input value to a copy of the OTP. The application may determine that the comparison results in a match, and display, based on the determination that the comparison results in the match, one or more attributes of the account.
