    Abstract: Methods and systems describe providing face mesh deformation with detailed wrinkles. A neutral mesh based on a scan of a face is provided along with initial control point positions on the neutral mesh and user-defined control point positions corresponding to a non-neutral facial expression. A radial basis function (RBF) deformed mesh is generated based on RBF interpolation of the initial control point positions and the user-defined control point positions. Predicted wrinkle deformation data is then generated by one or more cascaded regressors networks. Finally, a final deformed mesh is provided with wrinkles based on the predicted wrinkle deformation data.

The aircraft comprises a system for automatically controlling the high lift devices at the moment when the wheels of the aircraft leave the ground. The method comprises a step of selecting a first configuration of the high lift devices at the start of the take-off phase and a selection of an acceleration speed of the aircraft. The method is advantageous in that, on reception of an actual aircraft take-off detection signal, a control unit is configured to transmit a control command making it possible to bring the high lift devices into a second configuration, in which they are retracted relative to the first position, and consecutively accelerate the speed of the aircraft automatically to an acceleration speed entered by the pilot.

The side wheel enclosures each support a side wheel in a fixed relation to the other side wheel. The side wheel enclosures are operably connected to the stop plate by a pair of vertical plates. A multi-axis damper extends from the stop plate to engage the face wheel enclosure and dampen oscillation of the wheel enclosures during operation. A set of delta diameter wheels across all four guides reduces coincident flat spots to improve ride quality. Also, a wheel force gauge is integrated with the face wheel enclosure.

    Abstract: A phototherapy light device for directing light onto an infant. The phototherapy light device has a base containing an illumination source and a gooseneck type of elongated neck that extends outwardly from the base and has a distal end adapted to be positioned to direct the light onto the infant. An optical fiber transmits the light from the illumination source to the distal end through the optical fiber where the light is passed through a light emanating device located at the distal end of the elongated neck. The elongated neck has two flexible sections, one of which has two coaxial springs to provide flexibility in positioning as well as to impart sufficient strength and rigidity to the elongated neck. The dual spring concept provides a system having reduced stresses while creating a double fault structural system without compromising the flexibility of the elongated neck.

The phototherapy light device has a base containing an illumination source and a gooseneck type of elongated member that extends outwardly from the base and has a conical shaped shade at its distal end. An optical fiber transmits the light from the illumination source to the shade through the optical fiber where the light is passed through a plastic Fresnel lens at the distal end of the shade. By the use of the Fresnel lens and the means of affixing the shade onto the elongated member, the distal end of the phototherapy light device is relatively light and which alleviates the problem of that distal end sagging downwardly to contact the infant undergoing treatment.

    Abstract: A protective device that is used in a medical suction system withdrawing liquids from a patient. The device is located upstream of a vacuum regulator and protects that regulator and other downstream components from contacting the liquid being withdrawn from the patient. The protective device has an inlet and an outlet and an actuator mechanism that can move between a contracted position where a gas can communicate through the protective device between the inlet and the outlet and an expanded position where the actuator mechanism occludes both the inlet and the outlet to shut off the vacuum supply to the patient. An electrical circuit having a pair of sensing electrodes provides an electrical discharge to trigger a shape-metal alloy wire to move the actuator mechanism from the contracted position to the expanded position when the sensing electrodes detect the presence of a liquid therebetween.
