  • Publication number: 20200134714
Abstract: Systems and methods for digital verification of customer information are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for digital verification of customer information may include: (1) receiving, from a customer, an application for a financial product offered by a financial institution; (2) automatically retrieving, from at least one database, direct deposit activity for the customer for a predetermined period of time; (3) determining a customer income based on the direct deposit activity; (4) determining a confidence in the customer income; and (5) in response to the confidence being above a threshold, approving the customer for the financial product based on the determined customer income.

  • Publication number: 20190212011
Abstract: A fireplace system having one or more elements that operate to reduce the energy of acoustic signals propagating through the fireplace system before they are broadcast from a firebox of the fireplace system into a room within which the fireplace system is located. In some examples, a powered exhaust evacuation system is coupled to the fireplace system and an acoustic attenuation element of the fireplace system operates to reduce the acoustic signal of the powered exhaust evacuation system as it propagates through the acoustic attenuation element.

  • Publication number: 20070215143
Abstract: According to embodiments of the present invention, a pellet stove includes a firepot assembly with a bottom plate slideable along rails to move between a closed position during combustion in the firepot and an open position during ash removal. According to other embodiments, a firebox or combustion enclosure includes a plurality of airfoils formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the enclosure to facilitate heat exchange between exhaust gases flowing across the inner surface of the enclosure and air blown across the outer surface of the enclosure. According to some embodiments, the airfoils and enclosure are of integral unibody construction. According to yet other embodiments, a user sets parameters via a wall control unit, and a stove control unit receives the parameters and automatically controls fuel feed rate, ignition, convection blower, combustion blower, and/or firepot cleaning based on the one or more parameters.

  • Patent number: 7047962
Abstract: An automatic air intake control includes a timing mechanism that regulates the amount of air entering a combustion chamber enclosure during combustion of a fuel. The amount of air is regulated to provide an efficient and clean burn of a solid fuel. The control may include a cover, an actuating assembly, and a controller. The cover is movable between open and closed positions relative to an air passage opening into the combustion chamber enclosure. The actuating assembly is coupled to the cover and configured to move the cover between the open and closed positions. The controller is coupled to the actuating member and configured to control the position of the cover through the actuating member to regulate the air intake into the combustion chamber. The controller may be a time-based device such as a timer, or may be any other device that uses inputs associated with the combustion of fuel in the combustion chamber or a user's preferences for the characteristics of combustion in combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 6102089
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new and improved modification for converting a drill press into a wood lathe. Further, the present invention relates to an adaption kit for the modification of a conventional drill press into a general-purpose wood lathe. A drill press is modified for use as a wood lathe useful for shaping wood stock with a shaping tool. A driving spur is affixed to the chuck of the drill press for engaging one end of the wood stock. An adapter plate is affixed to the platform of the drill press. A tailstock is removably attached to the adapter plate for engagement of the opposite end of the wood stock. A tool rest is affixed to the adapter plate for use with a shaping tool.
