  • Patent number: 12516905
Abstract: The present invention is a system and method pertaining to a Pneumatic Launcher Barrel Housing designed for enhanced noise suppression during projectile launching, maintaining shot accuracy and consistency, and allowing for greater customization and configurability. The system comprises an external layer, removable and replaceable internal layer(s), and air gap(s) between layers. The external layer facilitates attachment to existing projectile guns and provides a framework for securing internal layer(s), creating an air gap. The internal layer guides the paintball, utilizing expanding gases from the projectile gun to accelerate it through a stabilized path. This aids in dissipating residual air pressure and ensuring consistent shot trajectories.

  • Publication number: 20070235016
Abstract: Disclosed is a pneumatically operated, projectile impelling apparatus having a single pulse driven pneumatic bolt/valve assembly. The assembly is used in an action mechanism in operative communication with a trigger group and a gun barrel. A single gas pulse operated bolt/valve assembly in the action mechanism operates on the input of a single gas pressure flow signal pulse to complete a complete firing cycle of chambering and launching a loaded projectile and to load a next projectile. The gas pulse is provided by trigger actuated fast acting, high flow rate gas valve disposed between a constant gas pressure flow supply and the action mechanism.
