    Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure includes a seal assembly. The seal assembly may include a metallic seal, an insulating sleeve, and a retaining clip configured to retain the insulating sleeve relative to the metallic seal. In an embodiment, a high temperature seal assembly may include a metallic seal, an insulating sleeve encompassing the metallic seal, a plurality of retaining clips configured to retain the insulating sleeve relative to the metallic seal, and first and second modified sealing surfaces, wherein the retaining clips are configured to provide the first and second sealing surfaces.
