    Abstract: Polyisocyanurate Rigid Foams having improved fire resistance and smoke emission characteristics can be achieved by employing high isocyanurate index (e.g., at least 500) together with a high relative amount of the polyisocyanurate in the foam formulation. Trimerization catalysts can be employed to prepare the polyisocyanurate foam.
