    Abstract: There is provided a method and system to enable resolving a dispute using a networked dispute resolution environment. Jurors may be selected from members of a network-based community. A panel of jurors including one or more members is formed and provided evidence associated with the dispute for review. The evidence may include a description of the dispute and comments from at least one party to the dispute. A decision on the dispute based on input received from the panel is then determined. The input may comprise one or more votes received from the panel.

    Abstract: There is provided a method and system to enable a complainant to automatically design a dispute resolution process, within a computer system, from multiple component processes. The system receives characterization information, from a complainant, which is utilized to characterize a dispute. Next, the system communicates a user interface, to the complainant, that includes the component processes. Finally, the system receives selections from the complainant that correspond to at least two component processes and the order of performance of the at least two component processes to automatically design a dispute resolution process that facilitates settlement of the dispute.
