  • Patent number: 11663828
Abstract: A system for visual cognition processing for sighting, effectively a rifle scope apparatus, is a system that transforms one or more captured image streams through image processing and complex scene analysis including detection, segmentation, keypoints, identification and visual cognition processing that generates a display image visible to a viewer on a display where the complete analysis of the scene can be computed on the sighting device or on a separate computation platform.

  • Publication number: 20160030880
Abstract: An improved method of CO2 capture is described. Typically, CO2 is absorbed by an aqueous solution of amines at a first temperature to form a CO2-amine reaction product, and desorbed at a second higher temperature. The improvement described herein adds a catalyst to the CO2-amine reaction product in an amount such that the CO2 desorption occurs at a lower temperature than the second higher temperature.

  • Publication number: 20120313705
Abstract: A method of configuring a FET amplifier with two inputs demonstrating similar-phased response to similar-phased inputs. One input can be used as a feedback path in suitable amplifier circuits, improving frequency performance by decreasing feedback resistance. The second input provides the means for a high impedance connection to a drive signal. The present invention is particularly applicable to applications involving constant voltage sources and constant current active sources with or without cascoding, in both single-ended and differential configurations.

  • Patent number: 4118619
Abstract: An optical laser beam chopper for converting a continuous beam into a series of scanning impulses for use in perforating a moving web is disclosed. The system utilizes a coherent light source which produces a beam for use in perforating a thin paper web of the type used in producing cigarette filters. The beam passes through a rotary chopper, or shutter, system which incorporates a plurality of rotary discs each of which carries one or more annular rings divided into segments. Selected segments on each ring are formed of a reflective material to act as mirrors for the laser beam, while the remaining segments are in the form of apertures which allow the beam to pass through the disc.
