  • Patent number: 5078988
Abstract: Dentifrices including modified amino alkyl silicones are provided. The aminoalkyl silicones are modified with epoxides to alkylate the nitrogen atoms and decrease their reactivity to flavors and other aldehydes present in the dentifrice. The modified silicones form a hydrophobic layer on the teeth for prevention of caries and stain.
