  • Patent number: 11875185
Abstract: A computer-implemented method according to one embodiment includes receiving data associated with a driver performing actions. At least some of the actions trigger events emitted by an event emitter. Information, from the received data, about the performed actions is logged in an action log. An event observer is instructed to log the events emitted by the event emitter that the event observer observes. The observed events are logged in an event log. The information of the action log and information of the event log is compared based on a rule, and a validity of the event emitter is determined based on results of the comparing. A computer program product according to another embodiment includes a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith. The program instructions are readable and/or executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform the foregoing method.

  • Patent number: 8190757
Abstract: A system for automatically binding client-side applications with backend services is disclosed. This system may comprise a client device programmed to request, on behalf of a user, a client-side application and a backend service programmed to: 1) identify a client account associated with the user, 2) identify authentication credentials associated with the client account, 3) dynamically inject, in response to the request, the authentication credentials into the client-side application, and 4) provide the injected client-side application to the client device. Corresponding computer-implemented methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7735079
Abstract: A compatibility module manages compatibility issues between software applications installed on a computing device by intervening with installation of incompatible software applications to ensure compatibility problems are resolved. In one embodiment, an information control module stores compatibility information for a plurality of software applications, and this information describes how to resolve compatibility problems among the software applications. A search module searches for compatibility information, and a testing module analyzes the compatibility information to determine whether installation of a first software application on a computing device is compatible with the plurality of software applications installed on the computing device. Finally, an installation control module regulates the installation based on the result of the compatibility analysis.
