  • Patent number: 7174829
Abstract: An adjustable piston pump for displacement and extraction of remnant from soft sand and or soft soil includes a pump casing cylinder that is capped at one end and opens at the other end. It includes a handle fixed to the pump casing cylinder, a shaft rod, a shaft rod handle and a piston that includes a flexible ball. The shaft rod is retractable through the center of the capped end of the pump casing cylinder and is connected to a shaft rod handle. The portion of the shaft rod that always remains embodied in the pump casing cylinder is connected to a piston. The flexible ball mounted inside the piston construction is compressed or decompressed by the clockwise or counter clockwise rotation of the handle located at the other end of the shaft rod. Pressure is controlled in this manner. Upward and downward strokes of the piston initiate displacement and extraction of remnant.

  • Patent number: 6262354
Abstract: The present invention provides a unique device for protecting the strings of musical instruments such as guitars and stringed bases in the event they should topple over face down. The device also serves to clean and buff the strings of musical instruments while at the same time providing a pocket 14 and 15 for pick storage. The present invention is a pad 12 of soft cloth or pre-formed soft rubber which when attached to the strings of musical instruments will not scratch and damage the instruments delicate finish. A groove 13 bottom side enables a secure fit over and around string 11a through 11f. It also allows for easy attachment and detachment of pad 12.

  • Patent number: 5094427
Abstract: A pressure regulator has a diaphragm mounted upon a base to form a flow chamber between the diaphragm and the base. A dome pressure casing is mounted upon the base to form a cavity between the casing and the diaphragm. One piece of tubing is connected either to the base or to the casing and passes sequentially through the base or casing, through the cavity, and through the diaphgram to the flow chamber for inlet fluid injection through the flow chamber. Another piece of tubing is connected either to the base or to the casing and passes sequentially from the flow chamber, through the diaphragm, through the cavity, and through the base or casing for fluid discharge. A pressure port within the dome pressure casing permits the supply of pressure to the diaphragm to restrict the fluid flow through the flow chamber.
