  • Patent number: 12528365
Abstract: A micro-mobility vehicle power optimization system generating and applying a set of optimal characteristics. The system comprises a processor. The processor is operable to carry out the steps of: receiving, from an input from a user of the micro-mobility vehicle, an objective parameter; recognising, from the micro-mobility vehicle, a set of input devices; determining, from the set of input devices, a set of input device data points; storing, on a datastore, the set of input device data points; determining the set of optimal characteristics; applying, to the set of input devices, the optimal characteristics, thereby optimizing the power parameters of the set of input devices of the micro-mobility vehicle. The optimal characteristics are determined based on: the objective parameter; and the set of input device data points.

  • Publication number: 20250196685
Abstract: A method of charging a device wirelessly with a wireless charger begins after the device is located adjacent to the wireless charger. The wireless charger receives or determines a position of an induction coil of the device. The wireless charger then determines a position which can be reached by a charging coil of the wireless charger that will provide most efficient power transfer to the induction coil of the device. The charging coil of the wireless charger is then moved to this reachable position, and the device is charged wirelessly using the charging coil. A suitable wireless charger and an appropriately configured chargeable device are also described.

  • Publication number: 20250155858
Abstract: Some embodiments relate to a method of energy management for an electrical system of a building. The electrical system comprises one or more inflexible energy assets and one or more flexible energy assets. The method comprises: obtaining power data for the electrical system; and operating the one or more flexible energy assets to balance electrical power in the electrical system by: determining an energy forecast for the electrical system based on the power data, wherein the energy forecast is determined using a forecasting model for the electrical system; and determining a power schedule for controlling the one or more flexible energy assets to balance the electrical power in the electrical system using the determined energy forecast.

  • Publication number: 20250100394
Abstract: There is provided a method and a system to adaptively control a vehicle inverter system that is operable to power a vehicle powertrain, wherein the vehicle powertrain comprises a plurality of operating modes. The method and system comprises adaptively controlling the AC power output of the vehicle inverter system to vary the AC power output of the vehicle inverter system for the vehicle powertrain according to each operating mode of the vehicle powertrain. The method and system further comprises identifying the operating mode of the vehicle powertrain in real-time and adaptively controlling the AC power output of the vehicle inverter system according to the identified real-time operating mode of the vehicle powertrain.

  • Patent number: 12231259
Abstract: A message ID decoding method is provided for a system comprising multiple components interlinked by a Controller Area Network bus (CAN-bus) through which messages are sent. The method includes acquiring a CAN-bus message data stream including multiple CAN-bus messages, each including a CAN ID indicating a component from which the corresponding CAN-bus message originated; storing the CAN-bus messages in a first datastore; acquiring an electricity consumption signal indicative of the consumption of the component; storing the electricity consumption signal in a second datastore; generating multiple time-stamp bins each corresponding to an interval in time; selecting the CAN ID and a portion of the electricity consumption signal being from the interval in time corresponding to the time-stamp bin; and determining a regression coefficient, R, indicating a level of relatedness between the selected CAN ID and portion, thereby correlating the CAN ID of the selected CAN-bus message with the component.
