    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a surgical patch and methods of using the same. The surgical patch includes a body having a substrate, a longitudinal slit bisecting at least a portion of the body, and at least one additional slit extending from the longitudinal slit defining a retractable section. The surgical patch of the disclosure may be used, for example, to provide hemostasis at a site of anastomosis. The present disclosure also provides kits including such surgical patches, as well as templates that permit one to cut the patch to a desired size and/or shape.
