    Abstract: A female connector has a female connector housing, a fastening member, and a resilient member. The female connector housing is provided with a slot at a portion thereof which receives a male connector, the slot forming at least one accommodating portion in a circumferential direction of the female connector housing. The fastening member is inserted into the slot and movable between a blocking position and an unblocking position. The resilient member is resiliently connected between the female connector housing and the fastening member, and the resilient member to apply a restoring force to the fastening member to move the fastening member towards the blocking position when the fastening member is in the unblocking position.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a female connector for receiving and being fixedly connected to a male connector having a retention groove, the female connector including a housing and a retention clip. The retention clip has a fixed portion and a movable portion, wherein the fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion is movable between a locked position and a released position along a surface of the housing. The retention clip is configured such that a retention flange can project into the channel and be located in a travel path of the male connector when the movable portion is in the locked position, and the retention flange exits the channel and is out of the travel path of the male connector when the movable portion is in the released position. The fixing portion of the retention clip of the present disclosure is connected to the housing, and thus the retention clip would not be detached from the housing even when an operator applies a large force.

The retaining clamp is around at least part of the housing and comprises a pair of arms deflectable towards or away from each other. Each arm is provided with a retaining groove, enters the channel of the housing through the housing window and is in a travel path of a retaining flange of a male connector. During the female connector receiving the male connector, when the retaining flange is in contact with the arms but is not yet aligned with the retaining grooves, it deflects the arms out of the travel path of the retaining flange, when the retaining flange is aligned with the retaining grooves, the arms return to the travel path of the retaining flange to accommodate the retaining flange in the retaining grooves.

The retaining portion is elastically deformable and the retaining portion and the locking portion are configured to enter the receiving channel through the retaining channel and the locking channel, respectively, wherein the snap-fit fastener has a first position and a second position, and is movable between the first position and the second position in a radial direction of the female connector shell. The retaining portion is configured to elastically deform under the action of the male connector to provide a force that drives the snap-fit fastener to move from the first position to the second position. The snap-fit fastener in the first position can move to the second position only after the male connector and the female connector are fixed, so that it is possible to visually determine whether the male connector and the female connector are fixed.

    Abstract: Described is a female connector having a housing, a retaining clamp, and an indicating clamp. The housing has a channel running through it and a window on its side. The retaining clamp wraps around part of the housing and can move into the channel through the window to lock the female connector to a male connector. The indicating clamp is placed around both the retaining clamp and the housing and is temporarily locked to the retaining clamp. When the male connector is inserted but not yet fully secured, the indicating clamp stays locked. Once the male connector is fully secured, the indicating clamp unlocks and can be removed.
