Abstract: An object encoding and computation method in a database system, where a global object sample space is constituted based on correlation between a plurality of object sample spaces in a database. A global dictionary table is created in the global object sample space to provide a globally unique encoding value for each object, set the encoding value as an object identifier (ID) of the object, and ensure that the object ID and object description information are in a one-to-one mapping relationship. The database object is encoded and compressed based on the global dictionary table. Further, the object ID is directly used for database query computation.

Abstract: The brake system composes a circular wheel, brake shoes, brake disc and cable reel rotation. The rubbing action between brake shoes and brake disc generating from the rotation of Axle rotating with the planetary gear, which is driven by the cable reel, reduces the falling speed. (Falling speed about 1.7 meters per second) The inner cable is designed with a length of 82 meters and max load of 177 kg. The decelerator of this device could stop the falling immediately by using hand brake, in order to achieve rescue and avoid probable injure.

Abstract: A network intrusion detection system (IDS) is built at an important network node and used to detect and monitor network packets. The network intrusion detection system includes a network card and a system core processor. When receiving a network packet, a micro-processor of the network card performs a packet decode procedure and a packet preprocess procedure, thereby verifying a type and a source address of the packet in advance and converting the packet into an IDS format packet. Afterwards, the system core processor determines whether the packet is an intrusion packet. Since the computation of the packet decode procedure and the packet pre-process procedure is handled by the network card, the network intrusion detection system will not lose packets due to too heavy computation burden, thereby greatly improving the accuracy of the network intrusion detection system.
