The washer may include a second opening and at least one portion protruding in a downward direction from an upper surface of the washer. The nut may have an upper surface, a lower surface and a threaded opening. The threaded bolt may be disposed through the first opening, the second opening and the threaded opening. The spring may be located between a portion of the first member and the washer. The torsion spring may be located between the washer and the nut, where the torsion spring causes the nut to rotate when force is applied to an upper part of the first member.

Abstract: A bracket assembly supports an electrical box between wall studs. The bracket assembly includes an elongate vertical bracket having a first end for attachment to a horizontal stud and an opposed upper end. An elongate horizontal bracket is affixed to the upper end of the vertical bracket. The horizontal bracket includes a pair of opposed ends for attachment to spaced apart vertical studs. The horizontal bracket defines a frame including a plurality of openings. The frame accommodates on side thereof an electrical box about each opening and accommodates on the other side thereof a mud ring about each opening.
