  • Patent number: 11016320
Abstract: A display device with viewing angle switching, and its display method and fabrication method are provided. The display device includes a display module and a guest-host effect box. The guest-host effect box includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a display dielectric layer. A first transparent electrode is disposed on a surface of the first substrate and a second transparent electrode is disposed on a surface of the second substrate. A first alignment film layer is disposed on a surface of the first transparent electrode, and a second alignment film layer is disposed on a surface of the second transparent electrode. When a bias voltage is not applied to the first and second transparent electrodes, a display mode is a narrow viewing angle mode; and when the bias voltage is applied to the first and second transparent electrodes, the display mode is a wide viewing angle mode.
