Abstract: A collapsible luggage bed is described that includes a luggage body and a frame coupled to the luggage body, where the frame includes brackets that form hinge receptacles. Receiver hinges are positioned in the hinge receptacles and pivotably coupled to the frame via the brackets, where each of the receiver hinges comprises channels for storing at least a base of a multitude of telescoping members. The collapsible luggage bed has a lying surface provided by a first bed section configured to pull out from the frame in a first direction and a second bed section configured to pull out from the frame in a second direction opposite that of the first direction.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for finding blood vessels. In one embodiment, a method includes extracting a plurality of pulsed wave Doppler data streams, where each data stream corresponds to one of a plurality of depths; determining blood flow information for each of the plurality of depths based on the corresponding data stream, the blood flow information including flow velocity, flow direction, and amplitude of the data stream; and providing a visual display based upon the determined blood flow information, where the visual display includes the determined flow velocity, flow direction, and amplitude of the data stream corresponding to at least one of the plurality of depths.

Abstract: A medical emergency head and neck stabilization system for use on a patient carrying device such as a spine board includes a sleeve of cushioning material which fits over the end of the spine board. First and second side head restraints are affixable to the cushioning material and a head retaining strap is designed to pass over the patient's head, such as the forehead, and to be fixed in position on or around the sleeve.

The rugged denier nylon construction affords strength, comfort and durability, and allows for the adhesive free retention of a medical supply tube in the vicinity of the patients face. The immobilization device can be manufactured economically as to allow the device to be disposable, thus reducing contamination hazard from transfer of bodily fluids.
