Having a metal contained inside or part of the ball and by using a surface as a in between object to the metal and a magnetic field such as a magnet, it would result in the ball being pulled towards and held the surface of the in-between object by their magnet attraction of the metal to the magnetic field Moving the magnetic field would make the ball move in the same direction as long as the magnetic attraction is strong enough. Now Vertical or greater angled surfaces can be used to hold and move a hollow ball on.
