Abstract: Disclosed herein are a pseudo sample configured for validating the test method of measuring a force required to remove a cap from a drug delivery device, wherein the pseudo sample comprises an upper magnet movably secured within a body of the drug delivery device; and a cap magnet secured within the cap, wherein an attraction between the upper magnet and the cap magnet is configured to deliver a standard force required to remove the cap from the body of the drug delivery device. Also disclosed herein are methods of assembling such a pseudo sample, and methods of using such a pseudo sample to validate the test method of measuring a force required to remove a cap from a drug delivery device.

Abstract: A fixture for an automatic needle injection is disclosed, wherein the fixture comprises a housing including a chamber, the housing including a first plurality of walls, a second plurality of walls, and a third plurality of walls, a holder, and a membrane; wherein the membrane is contained in the holder, the holder is secured within a portion of the housing, and the holder is configured to allow a portion of a needle of a syringe to pass through a portion of the holder and into the chamber of the housing.

Abstract: An adapter assembly that includes a housing, a channel formed within the housing that is configured to receive a medical device, a first groove formed along an interior wall of the channel that is configured to at least partially receive a first retaining element, and a second groove formed along the interior wall of the channel that is configured to at least partially receive a second retaining element. The first retaining element is configured to extend outward from the first groove and the second retaining element is configured to extend outward from the second groove, such that the first and second retaining elements abut against the medical device received through the channel.
