More specifically the embodiments of the disclosure concern methods and apparatus for transporting, positioning, and manipulating large diameter power cables at the well site of oil and gas wells with a cable transport structure using longitudinal cable retaining members to create channels to store the cables and an end rack to fold extra length of the cable back onto the cable transport structure.
