  • Publication number: 20230106466
Abstract: A valve seat for a valve assembly for a high-pressure fluid pump is disclosed. The valve assembly includes a valve body, and a valve seat fabricated of a first material. The valve seat has a generally a tubular body having an annular collar having an outer diameter surface extending beyond the outer diameter surface of the tubular body, and an annular insert fabricated of a second material more durable than the first material and affixed to form an inner diameter surface of the collar, the insert forming an annular sealing surface against which the valve body abuts when in a closed position. The insert forms an annular ledge edge at its inner diameter surface that is offset from the inner diameter surface of the tubular body to form an annular chamfered edge.

  • Patent number: 11448210
Abstract: A valve member for an inlet or outlet valve assembly of a reciprocating pump assembly includes a valve body and a seal member. The valve body comprises a first body surface and a second body surface that extend circumferentially about the valve body. The valve body defines a body axis and an annular cavity. The seal member is positioned at least partially within the annular cavity of the valve body such that an outer seal portion of the seal member extends between the first body surface and the second body surface of the valve body. The outer seal portion of the seal member comprises a first seal surface and a second seal surface. The first body surface, the first seal surface, and the second seal surface extend at different angles relative to the body axis.

  • Publication number: 20220268362
Abstract: The present disclosure relates, to a wear-resistant hydraulic fracturing pump valve for use in a valve housing, the wear-resistant hydraulic fracturing pump valve comprising: (a) a valve head extending radially from a central axis, the valve head comprising: (i) a first bottom surface comprising a metal and positioned closest to a base of the valve head, wherein the first bottom surface is configured to form a metal seal with a top surface of a valve seat; and (ii) a first annular groove positioned directly adjacent and above the first bottom surface; and (b) a first wear-resistant pump valve gasket configured to mount inside the first annular groove and to form a valve gasket seal with the top surface of the valve seat.
