  • Patent number: 11970417
Abstract: Systems for producing articles from glass tube include a converter having a base with a plurality of processing stations and a turret moveable relative to the base. The turret indexes a plurality of holders for holding the glass tubes successively through the processing stations. The systems further include a gas flow system or a suction system for producing a flow of gas through the glass tube during one or more heating, forming, separating or piercing operations. The flow of gas through the glass tube produced by the gas flow system or suction system may be sufficient to evacuate or purge volatile constituents of the glass from the glass tube and/or pierce a meniscus formed on the glass tube during separation, thereby reducing the Surface Hydrolytic Response (SHR) of the interior surface of the glass tube and articles made therefrom.

  • Patent number: 11951365
Abstract: A shim or badge is affixed to a golf club body to produce a cap-back iron, giving the appearance of a hollow-body iron. In this way, the golf club can be manufactured with the performance benefits of a game improvement iron, while providing the appearance of a blade, player's iron, and/or a hollow-body iron. For example, by using a lightweight and rigid shim or badge to close a cavity opening and extend into the toe portion in the golf club body, the golf club head can provide increased stiffness in the topline, while lowering CG. Various shim or badge arrangements and materials can be used, and a filler material and/or damper can be included within the cavity to improve sound and feel, while minimizing loss in COR.

  • Publication number: 20240087689
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques for abstraction of unstructured clinical trial health data. Particularly, aspects are directed to obtaining, by a data transformation system, an unstructured document that includes various types of content for a given event. The data transformation system converts the unstructured document from an original format into a standardized format. The data transformation system processes the unstructured document in the standardized format to identify template-mapped content data and processes the template-mapped content data to identify high-interest content data. The data transformation system generates a dictionary data structure comprising key-value pairs for each of the template-mapped content data and the high-interest content data. The data transformation system generates a structured document based on the dictionary data structure for each of the template-mapped content data and the high-interest content data.

  • Patent number: 11918874
Abstract: A damper is provided within the cavity of a golf club head and spans substantially the full length of the striking face from heel-to-toe of the golf club head. One or more cutouts and/or other relief is provided in the damper to reduce the surface area of the damper that contacts the rear surface of the striking face. By reducing the surface area that the damper contacts the rear surface of the striking face, the full length damper improves the sound and feel of the golf club head at impact and only minimally reduces performance of the golf club head. For example, the one or more cutouts and/or other relief maintains face flexibility, characteristic time (CT) and coefficient of restitution (COR) of the striking face.

  • Publication number: 20230141878
Abstract: A positive displacement pump includes a suction cover disposed in a suction access bore defined in the fluid end and housing, where the suction cover is configured to cover the suction access bore. A retainer nut is configured for abutting against the suction cover and retaining the suction cover within the suction access bore. A suction gland has an inner circumferential threaded interface configured to engage an external circumferential threaded interface defined on the retainer nut, and the suction gland has a plurality of threaded openings configured to receive a plurality of threaded fasteners that can be used for securely fastening the suction gland to the fluid end housing.

  • Publication number: 20220348383
Abstract: A foldable template for forming an envelope includes a central panel, a top glue flap, a bottom glue flap, a first intermediate panel, a second intermediate panel, a first back panel, and a second back panel. The first intermediate panel extends from a first side of the central panel and is separated therefrom by a first curved crease. The second intermediate panel extends from a second side of the central panel and is separated therefrom by a second curved crease. The first back panel extends from the first intermediate panel and is separated therefrom by a third curved crease. The second back panel extends from the second intermediate panel and is separated therefrom by a fourth curved crease.

  • Publication number: 20210316430
Abstract: A seat removal tool is disclosed for removing valve seats. A seat removal tool having a main rod, actuator rod within the main rod that actuates to cause radially expandable extraction segments to transition between an expanded position and a contracted position. When using the seat removal tool to remove a valve seat, portions of the radially expandable extraction segments may pass through a seat while the valve seat removal tool is in a contracted position. Thereafter, the seat removal tool may transition from the contracted position to an extended position, which grabs the seat. While in the expanded position, the seat removal tool may pull the valve seat from the passage.

  • Patent number: 10911912
Abstract: Systems and methods for asset monitoring utilize a network, one or more data servers, one or more asset-monitoring modules, and one or more beacon modules to monitor assets deployed across a facility. The systems and methods are asset-agnostic and are able to provide statistical forecasts and degradation model for each asset monitored. The systems and methods may further apply real-time regression, including Bayesian updating techniques to provide real-time corrections to forecasts and degradation models.

  • Patent number: 10820836
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software products analyze foot strikes. A runner profile defining characteristics of a user and a shoe type of the shoes is received. Shoe characteristics are retrieved based upon the shoe type. A model of shoe wear is configured based upon both the runner profile and the shoe characteristics. Sensor data indicative of movement of a runner's foot is received from a foot strike monitor configured with the shoes and processed through the model to determine a user's expected lifetime for the shoes. The user's expected lifetime is indicated to the user.
