Abstract: A ratchet wrench comprises a handle (2) in which a ratchet spring (1) extends axially between the wrench head at one end of the handle and a gripping sleeve (4) at the other end thereof. The gripping sleeve carries a rotatable or twistable resetting sleeve (3) by means of which the ratchet spring can be adjusted between two predetermined positions so as to activate a ratchet device mounted in the wrench head. The ratchet spring has a hairpin-like bend whose one leg (22) engages the resetting sleeve while the other leg (21) thereof can be snapped around a shoulder (8) located on the bottom of 15 an operating chamber (7) located within the gripping sleeve. The axial extension of the other leg finds correspondence in the crank (11) formed by the ratchet spring in the transition to the wrench head. The crank engages in and adjusts the ratchet device, thereby enabling the direction in which the ratchet wrench can return freely to be reversed.

Abstract: A battery-driven handtool is configured with a holder (4) for housing the current source, this housing being detachably connected to the handgrip (1) of the tool. The holder is journalled for asymmetric rotation (around A) on the free end of the handgrip, so as to enable the outer dimensions of the tool to be minimized, by causing the holder to take at least two mutually opposing positions when the working space is confined, thereby also enabling the center of gravity point (TP) of the tool to be changed.

Abstract: A wire retainer, as well as a box joint nipper provided with such wire retainer, which is made from sheet metal and fittable to a side nipper of the kind consisting of two members crossing each other at a box joint portion, which are pivotably kept together by a hinge means and form the jaws and handles of the nipper. The wire retainer prevents offcuts from dropping when cutting and has an elastically yielding wire retainer tongue projecting out along one jaw of the nipper to retain the offcut between it and the opposite jaw. The wire retainer has an attachment portion from which the wire retainer tongue projects. The attachment portion comprises a plate with a hook on both side edges for removal and fitting to one of the members of the nipper in the region of the hinged portion.

Abstract: A rotatable hand tool, especially a screwdriver or other rotating tool for screws or nuts. The tool is of the kind having cavities in its handle for storing at least one, or usually several tool bits, which can optionally be attached to a holder attached to and turned by the holder. Such bits can, for example, constitute screwdriver tips, hexagonal socket keys and hexagonal sockets. The handle consists of two main parts, of which one is rotatably enclosed in the other and has cavities arranged in the form of recesses in its periphery, these recesses being accessible by turning the enclosed part so that one of its recesses coincides with an opening in the other part. A limited axial movement between both handle parts and between coacting locking means thereon enables these parts to turn respective to each other in an outer axial position, and is locking them against rotation in an inner axial position of the enclosed part.
